Body Parameters

Available products: vignette:ro, green-card , rca , medical, baggage, road-tax, vignette:md, vignette:eu, roadside-assistance-eu.

1. Vignette (RO)

Changes on 1 October 2026 — no action required. Existing requests keep working unchanged. The two new fields below are optional: a request without them is quoted as Euro 0 (E0), which is always legally valid. Durations, categories and prices change on that date; see Changelog.

Provide the vehicle as an MD certificate number (vehicle — plate, VIN and model are resolved automatically) or as a foreign_vehicle descriptor for vehicles not registered in Moldova.

Emission class (from 1 October 2026)

Currently only E0 and EC are sold (since 25 September 2026). Until declared classes are confirmed as acceptable, the class is set automatically: EC for an MD vehicle the registry lists as electric, E0 for every other vehicle, including every foreign_vehicle. emission_class and emission_proof_declared are still accepted, but a valid class is ignored: there is no 400 for a missing emission_proof_declared or for the year of manufacture, and emission_class on each offer is the class actually priced. An unknown code still answers 400 Invalid emission_class. Declared classes will be honoured again as described below; that will be announced in the Changelog, with no change needed on your side.

From 1 October 2026 the Romanian vignette is priced per Euro emission class. E0 is the most expensive class for cars, so the same vehicle and duration can cost less when its class is proven.

No emission_class — quoted and issued as E0. By law (Law 226/2023, art. 6(3)) a class that cannot be proven counts as Euro 0, so an E0 vignette is always valid for the vehicle; it may simply cost more than the vehicle's real class.
E1–E6 or EC — also send emission_proof_declared: true (a JSON boolean). Set it only after your customer has declared that they hold the vehicle's Certificate of Conformity (CoC) or another official document that attests the class, and can present it at a roadside check. The wording we use with our own customers:

Year of manufacture (MD vehicle only; the registry year is used) — E4 needs 2003 or later, E5 2008 or later, E6 2011 or later. A class the year rules out is refused, never quietly downgraded to E0: quote the vehicle without emission_class to get its E0 prices. A foreign_vehicle carries no year, so this check does not apply to it.
Electric vehicles — an MD vehicle the registry lists as electric is always quoted as EC, with no declaration needed; a different class you send for it is replaced by EC. We cannot see the engine of a foreign_vehicle: send EC with emission_proof_declared: true for an electric one.

The fields are accepted and validated as soon as this version of the API is live, so you can test them before the switch. Until 1 October 2026 they do not change the price and offers carry no emission_class.

The code and the declaration are checked before the year, so fix the first error and the next reply tells you about the year.

Before 1 October 2026 offers have no emission_class and use the old category labels (e.g. A-Autoturisme). From that date the offered durations are 1, 10, 30, 60 and 365 days and the categories are A–D; a goods vehicle over 3.5 t gets an empty offers list. message is empty unless the vehicle already has an active vignette; min_start_date is then the day after it ends.

8. Vignette (EU)

European multi-country vignette. A single request can return offers across every country you are allowed to sell, each tagged with its country and validity — pass both back to create-order. Prices are returned in MDL with the partner margin already included.

The human-readable labels (name, country_name, vehicle_class_info) default to Romanian. Pass the optional lang parameter (RO, EN or RU, case-insensitive) to receive them in another language. Any unrecognized value falls back to RO — lang never causes a request to be rejected.

9. Roadside Assistance (EU)

European roadside assistance for an MD-registered vehicle. Priced from the vehicle certificate; each offer is a validity option you pass back to create-order via its period. Only Category A vehicles up to 3.5 t are eligible — other vehicles return an empty offers array. Prices are returned in MDL with the partner margin already included.
